Montgomery & Hart Law Office: our Charlotte and Summerville offices
Montgomery & Hart has two offices, one in each Carolina. North Carolina matters go to Christine Hart at 122 N. McDowell Street in Charlotte. South Carolina matters go to Justin Montgomery and Tiffany Lumpkin at 201 Sigma Drive, Suite 300, in Summerville.
Both offices share one phone number, 980-243-4470, and the same hours.
- Monday to Thursday: 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Friday: 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
- Saturday and Sunday: closed
Which office is yours?
Pick the office by the state your matter is in, not by the one closest to you.
- North Carolina: a will or trust under North Carolina law, an estate opened in North Carolina, or a house in North Carolina. Christine Hart handles these from McDowell Street.
- South Carolina: a will or trust under South Carolina law, an estate opened in South Carolina, or a house in South Carolina. Justin Montgomery and Tiffany Lumpkin handle these from Sigma Drive.
Not sure which state it is? For an estate, it’s usually the state where the person who died lived. For a house, it’s the state where the house sits. Tell us where the person lived and where the house is when you call. We’ll set the meeting with the right attorney.
Charlotte office, 122 N. McDowell Street
- Christine Hart, our North Carolina attorney, works here. She handles wills, trusts and powers of attorney, estates in Mecklenburg County, and inherited houses and land in North Carolina.

Summerville office, 201 Sigma Drive, Suite 300
- Justin Montgomery and Tiffany Lumpkin, our South Carolina attorneys, work here. They open estates in Dorchester County, write and update South Carolina wills and trusts, and handle inherited property across the state.
- Meetings are by appointment, so call ahead rather than stopping by. See the Summerville office page for details.
Estates in the Columbia area
- We don’t have a Columbia office. Justin and Tiffany handle Richland County estates from Summerville. See probate in Columbia, SC for how that works.
Meeting by phone or video
You don’t have to live near either office. Our attorneys do much of their work remotely, and the first meeting can be by phone or video. Some steps still need you in person. Signing a will, for example, happens in front of witnesses.
