Attorney

Christine Hart

Attorney Hart first became interested in Real Estate law in Law School while assisting families impacted in 2008. As we all know, many families were adversely impacted by the downturn that occurred in 2008. Attorney Hart had the opportunity to assist families who had their homes stripped away from them due to the predatory lending of Beazer Homes. In connection with the AG, former homeowners were due restitution. Attorney Hart assisted families in determining their restitution and the amount of damages they qualified for.
After graduating, Attorney Hart returned to her home town of Charleston, South Carolina and was employed at the Center for Heirs’ Property Preservation. This job gave her the opportunity to assist low income families that had inherited heirs’ property. This assistance included implementing tools that families were able to use in their endeavors to preserve their Heirs’ Property in the LowCountry.

In Attorney Hart’s free time, she assists families as a volunteer attorney with the Council for Children’s Rights. Attorney Hart is also the chair of the Policy Committee for Mecklenburg County’s Domestic Advisory Board where she advocates with other members of the community for resources directly effecting victims of domestic violence.
